Authority Zero makes their homecoming debut at the Punk Rock’N Roller Derby

Phoenix, AZ (July 28, 2011)—Phoenix, AZ (July 28, 2011)—Fresh off a European tour, Authority Zero returns to their native roots with a headlining performance at the Punk Rock’N Roller Derby on Saturday, August 20th. After traveling through Spain, Germany, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom, Jason, Jim and Jeremy are ready for some much needed rest, relaxation and comforts from home. That’s just what they’ll get after their homecoming gig at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Eager fans are counting down the days until this local band, turned international sensation, rocks the house—local style.

Joining Authority Zero in concert will be Phoenix-based band, the Earps and San Diego natives, Unwritten Law. The Earps will open up the show with their catchy beats and honky tonk mix of country, punk and rock-n-roll. Then, get ready for Unwritten Law’s high energy performance. Unwritten Law has been credited as one of the major players in the pop-punk movement that swept the Southern California area throughout the 90s with their urban sound and punk rock edge—truly a great band to see perform live!

The Punk Rock’N Roller Derby promises to bring the punk, rock and derby action. So, you better believe that the Arizona Derby Dames plan to give the bands a run for their money matching three high energy performances with three high impact roller derby bouts! That’s right, this isn’t just a concert it’s an all-out smack-down, triple header playoff night at the Punk Rock’N Roller Derby. There’s sure to be a lot of fishnets, sweat and high speed action when the Schoolyard Scrappers, Bombshells, Runaway Brides and Brutal Beauties lace up their skates and battle it out.

The Punk Rock’N Roller Derby is going down on Saturday, August 20th at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum located at 1826 W. McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85007. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the first bout kicks-off at 3:30 p.m. General admission tickets are priced at $25 and VIP reserved seating tickets cost $35. Preferred ALL-ACCESS tickets are priced at $125 and include reserved seating, party room access and a meet and greet with the bands.
